Design Challenge

 

The challenge was to create a do-it-yourself magazine that focuses on redecorating the home and personal space on a budget. Geared toward  females who are generally crafty and like a very personalized space, this magazine needed a bright and feminine approach that would engage readers.

 

Design Solution

 

With a pastel color palate that is reminiscent of springtime colors, the magazine gets the right amount of “the female touch”. A consistent design element is that of colored lines. The articles are image heavy and are in a grid that allows for easy readability,
